Why Visit Ba Na Hills?

Perched high in the mountains above Da Nang, Ba Na Hills is one of Vietnam’s most iconic attractions. Famous for the Golden Bridge held by giant stone hands, spectacular mountain views, colourful gardens and its French-inspired village, it feels completely different from the city below.

Come for the views, ride the famous cable cars and spend the day exploring everything from the Golden Bridge to Fantasy Park. You can visit as a day trip from Da Nang or stay overnight for a quieter experience after the daytime crowds leave.

The Da Nang Guide Is Coming ♡

I’m currently curating the places, experiences and local tips I’d genuinely recommend for exploring Da Nang.

Be the first to know when the complete Da Nang Travel Guide & Itinerary launches.

    • The Golden Bridge opened in 2018 and quickly became one of Asia’s most photographed landmarks.
    • Mercure Danang French Village is the only hotel located inside Ba Na Hills, allowing guests to enjoy the Golden Bridge before and after the day-trip crowds arrive.
    • Ba Na Hills sits nearly 1,500 metres above sea level, making it significantly cooler than Da Nang below.
    • The cable car journey stretches for several kilometres across the mountains and was once recognised by Guinness World Records.
    • The bridge was designed to feel as if giant hands were lifting it from the mountainside, connecting visitors with nature.
    • The flower gardens contain thousands of plants and flowers imported from around the world.
